Web Developer
Practis is seeking a talented, well-rounded and creative web developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop websites using XHTML, CSS and PHP
- Ability to manage multiple projects and execute design from concept to site launch
- Design, develop, and administer new features on websites
- Displays creativity and imagination
- Communicate ideas clearly
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to handle a number of tasks simultaneously
Required Skills:
- Expert in XHTML, CSS
- Expert in Photoshop, Flash, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery
- One-year working knowledge with PHP
- Two years professional experience in web design and development
- Experience managing customer relationships
- Must be a strong team player with solid interpersonal skills
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to troubleshoot, problem solve and prioritize
- B.A. or B.S. in graphic design, new media technology, computer science or equivalent academic and work experience
The web designer/developer will work as part of a team, which will include a project manager. They may advise clients on ways of using the web to meet their needs, and will often be asked to suggest the latest functions and tools that could be used to increase a site's attractiveness and effectiveness.
