Sales Development Representative

Practis, a high-growth and private equity-backed medical marketing agency,  is looking for a high-energy Sales Development Representative to make a big impact through direct outreach. This role will be responsible for generating leads, servicing sales-related inquiries with a focus on engaging and qualifying all prospective customers. This role is one of the first touch points for prospects and has the opportunity to set the tone for the sales cycle following.

As an SDR at Practis, your role is to prospect, set demos, and pitch our digital marketing solutions to medical practices across the county to help them achieve greater visibility to patients searching online.


  • Daily outreach to potential customers via email and cold calling
  • Appointment setting and live demos for interested prospects
  • Assessing prospect quality and successfully handing off qualified leads for closing
  • Receiving feedback and refining engagement approach
  • Drive agency growth by meeting and exceeding sales goals
  • Identify new prospects and opportunities
  • Engage current users to expand awareness, educate, ask for referrals, identify new opportunities and develop account intelligence
  • Hold intelligent and engaging conversations over the phone, email, and messaging
  • Act as the subject matter expert on digital marketing solutions for healthcare providers
  • Understanding customer pain points, requirements and correlating potential business to value that can be provided
  • Manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently


  • Competitive uncapped compensation structure (base + commission)
  • 1+ years of prospecting and cold calling experience a plus. Comfortable with cold calling (60-80 dials per day)
  • Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and presentation
  • Proven business development success through effective use of core sales tools: Salesforce, LinkedIn, Google Apps, Microsoft Office
  • The ideal candidate will have a combination of enthusiasm, charisma, and a willingness to roll up their sleeves to get things done
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Tenacious and have a healthy competitive mindset
  • Promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables. Acts without being told what to do. Brings new ideas to the company
  • BA/BS degree or relevant experience preferred
